So Far So Good

God has already answered two of my prayers this week, both on Monday. I released everything to him and now that I am out of the way, he is working on it. I may have a third answered prayer by the end of the week!!!!

I am still waiting to hear about my thyroid ultrasound. I am really not wanting to have a needle stuck in my neck ... haven't you heard that nurses and doctors make the worse patients? Yeah, that's me, a nurse in training and I am the WORST patient. I want vercet if they do the biopsy, that's the only way to go ... to Lala land, Ha ha!

I am busy-busy-busy this week with school. We are learning how to do IV's very first thing ... It's exciting but a bit scary at the same time. I have had bad experiences with IV's myself, and you have to "practice" in order to get good, but I don't want to practice on a real person :-(

I probably won't post as often as I did over the summer due to my busy schedule, but I will update as soon as God moves my mountain! Have a great, glorious, and blessed week!

Feeling Blessed

I have had a pretty good week. God has got me through some hard days and blessed me with a loving family and good friends. I can't imagine living the life I used to have anymore. I had a lot of "friends" but I was miserable. Now I have good friends at church, a few friends I have had for a long time, and a life that is pleasing to God...what more can a girl ask for?

I took the NLN yesterday. Yeah that was fun! I don't know why they make a study guide when only about 15 questions come from the study guide out of 200 or so questions. I just pray that I scored what I needed and get accepted into the program.

I'm So Excited!

It is so exciting to be blessed so much just for doing what God wants you to do. I felt like God was wanting to me to post and share My Testimony with others. It was hard to do because it is not easy to air your dirty laundry. I have had so many positive responses from people I hoped my story would touch, but also from the people I go to church with.

God works like that, and it still amazes me. I don't take the credit by no means. God gets all the glory because he is the one who laid it upon my heart to share my story. Besides, what on earth did I do but make a bunch of stupid, regrettable mistakes? God did all the work, he changed me and I am so thankful for that.

Have a great, glorious, and blessed day!

Did You Know?

That Diabetes is the 4th leading cause of death in the US? Well it is and that scares me because my oldest son has it. I have been praying so hard that he will get the insulin pump. The pump is very similiar to a pancreas, and it will make a huge difference in my son’s life. God has already answered one prayer, and that is the insurance will completely cover the cost of the pump. Pumps run around $6,000-$10,000. We are a family of 6 with one income, so I was a bit worried about paying a big co-pay. God came through for us as always. God is so good!

Enjoying The Day

I woke up this morning to the sound of my boys and their friend playing the X-BOX. Stanley and his dad are fishing with some of the men from church. Brianna is at a friends house. It is a beautiful day!

I was suppose to go to the Christian Life & Witness Course this morning, but circumstances beyond my control kept me at home. I’m glad that they are having make-up classes. I already have my counselor application signed by the pastor. I am looking forward to being a counselor, I think it will benefit me as well as other people. It is amazing how much you learn and grow in your relationship with Christ by helping others.

God is great and I am off to enjoy this wonderful day that he has made. Have a great and glorious day!

God Is Good

I just want to take this time to praise God for all the wonderful things he does in my life each and every day.
